Day Care FSA
Our health care and dependent care spending accounts enable employees to pay for eligible health care and/or dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis.
The Health Care FSA reimburses out-of-pocket medical expenses*. Common eligible expenses are prescriptions, office visit copays, over-the-counter drugs, glasses, contacts, dental work, orthodontia, and expenses applied to plan deductibles. Additionally, HEATCON® matches 25% of eligible health care contributions up to $1,820 per year for a total maximum health care contribution of $455.

HEATCON® also provides a Day Care FSA that can be used to pay for qualified day care expenses with pre-tax dollars*. The day care provider can be either a licensed day care facility or an individual. The Day Care FSA limit is set by the IRS and is a calendar year limit of $5000 per household.

The Employee Assistance Program provides short-term, confidential counseling for employees and their families at no out-of-pocket expense. APS Healthcare provides counseling services in collaboration with HEATCON®:

HEATCON®’s PTO program combines vacation and sick leave into one bank of paid time off. This policy allows employees greater flexibility than with sick leave and vacation banks because PTO can be used for any reason, from personal reasons including: vacations; sicknesses; personal days to that of family members as described in FMLA and the Washington Care Act.
This is a win-win situation for both the employee and HEATCON®. This policy actually allows more time off for employees who do not typically use their sick leave as well as encouraging responsible time off practices and converting disruptive, unscheduled absences into scheduled time off.
PTO will begin after employees have been employed full time by HEATCON® for six (6) consecutive months. For new employees, leave banks will be credited with PTO on the day after the first six (6) months of service. Prior to that, at management’s discretion, employees may be granted to use one of the employee’s PTO days in advance for emergencies or sickness. After that, the employee’s PTO bank will be credited annually with the appropriate PTO accrual the day after the employee’s anniversary date.
An employee may accumulate up to two year's of PTO accrual in their leave bank.

Employees can elect to contribute funds into the HEATCON® 401(k) Plan on a pre-tax basis*. In addition, employees won't pay any taxes on their contributions or their earnings until they receive a distribution of money from the account. To this date, the Company has elected to make discretionary contributions instead of matching contributions, so that all eligible employees could share the contributions. Generally speaking, if we’ve had a profitable year, the company provides profit sharing contributions. All employee contributions are 100% vested. Company contributions vest on a 6-year schedule.

Training is one of our highest priorities. Effective employee training is essential to HEATCON®’s success; therefore, we provide each employee with on-the-job training. In addition, our ISO 9001:2000 certification requires us to maintain accurate records of employee training. Job Description:
Procure and facilitate government contracts, provide technical knowledge, training, consultation and services in the Aircraft Composite Repair Industry. This position is an instrumental part of the overall image of the Company and must portray a knowledge, understanding and professionalism to worldwide Airlines and Aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organizations.
Specific Duties:
Seek out government sources and other points of contact for new government/ military business.
Develop government technical and pricing proposals for government/military contracts.
Review and evaluate new contracts to ensure compliance with all FAR and DFAR requirements
Schedule and chair government meetings and liaison with government contracting office personnel.
Increase the government account base within assigned territory and profit margins by identifying products and services that can be provided by the company and will add to the value of the business relationship.
Develop proposals and price quotes for HEATCON® Composite Systems equipment, materials, tools and services.
Determine direction of future business in areas identified through communication and networking with customers and potential customers, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) representatives, MRO and Engineering Societies/ Organizations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Engineering or related field; or extensive experience in support of engineering with either a degree in vocational education or extensive instructor and curriculum development experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. The individual should possess a military background with knowledge of government contracting and proposal writing be possessed, with understanding of FARs and DFARs. A technical background in Composite Repair is highly desired.

Manage Company ERP System (Epicor Vantage .405), provide proactive departmental training and support. Create, maintain and update Crystal reports. Manage computer system including: network info-structure, workstations, system servers, remote users and offices, daily backups and integrity of system.

Coordinate and provide proactive support to Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, Production, Human Resources, and Engineering departments
Monitor and manage gathering, design, configuration and implementation of future enhancements to system

Administer IT systems which includes security, reporting, metadata changes and troubleshooting system issues and ensure quality control over data integrity
Qualifications:
Associates degree (A.A.) in IT or related field. Four to 5 years practical experience, with increasing responsibility, utilizing an equivalent ERP system to Vantage, (an Epicor. 405 software) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. The individual should possess a strong working knowledge of Crystal reports with proven ability to create new reports, experience with databases and spreadsheets, analytical and interpersonal skills, and knowledge of, SQL, Linux (Progress) and Excel (ability to do macros in Excel is a plus).
